BACK TO WORK!

We're all set to get back on the road mid-August but there's a lot to be done behind the scenes before then, so gardening and fly-fishing take a back seat once more! We welcome two new members to the band- Rob McDowall on keyboards and Saul Watson on bass and rehearsals start early August. Rob has an MA in music and Saul is a seasoned sought-after session man whose biggest influence is John Entwistle. Like John, he is endorsed by Rotosound. Both are ardent fans of The Who and say the roles in The Goldhawks were made just for them. We just can not wait to make noise! We start Aug 19th at the Playhouse, Weston-super-Mare followed on Aug Bank holiday weekend in Eastbourne (The Royal Hippodrome) on 28th and alongside The International Scooter Rally at The Shanklin Theatre on the Isle of Wight on 29th.

Sadly, we won't be doing Brighton this year as we had what can be politely called 'a difference of opinion' with the venue there so, Eastbourne it is! The Royal Hippodrome is a wonderful venue. Hopefully, there'll be a good scooter ride out from Brighton to our show - always a fantastic and welcome spectacle. Looking forward to seeing everyone's faces in real life!
